According to close sources, Shefali had been suffering from epilepsy since her teens and had recently discussed her health struggles in a viral podcast episode with Paras Chhabra—an old clip from which now resurfaces eerily mentioning the possibility of a “sudden death.”

Parag Tyagi has issued a statement urging media and fans for privacy and prayers during this time of grief.
